Welcome to L.A.F. Floors & Interiors

Thirty-four years ago my husband Andy and I opened ALF Floors & Interiors Inc. We worked hard to create a successful flooring and design business while at the same time start our family. Together we navigated the hills and valleys of life, trying our best to give our attention to the new business and our growing family.

After several years into our new venture I made the decision to take a step back from work to focus on our family because our boys Alex, Josh, and Jared had taken over the store and most of our staff’s time. For this precious time with my incredible boys I will be forever grateful, “as time truly does fly!” In December of 2002 we decided to sell our business and agreed that I would stay on at ALF floors with the new owner as manager/business consultant keeping mother’s hours while the boys were in school.

Fast-forward 21 years, our boys are fully-grown and each has embarked on new adventures. Finally, it was time for me to decide what I wanted to do with my career. After much soul searching I decided it was my time for me to follow the advice that, “anything is possible with hard work and dedication” (the mantra that my boys heard whenever they were faced with a challenge or disappointment). It was time for me to FLY, time to take a leap and open my own business!

L.A.F. Floors & Interiors Inc. (my initials) was created and my passion for flooring and design was brought to life. L.A.F. floors & interiors represents my belief that business is about establishing personal relationships and paying attention to details. Every customer that walks in our door is an opportunity to form a new relationship, to learn about their style and participate in a small part of their life.
